Make Deeper, More Sincere Friendships by Mark V. Hansen

Sincere Interest Show sincere interest in the other person. Care about what they care about.

Years ago in Japan I had a very close Japanese friend. As an American I was interested in how he defined friendship. So I asked him, "What does it mean to be a true friend in Japan?" He thought for a moment and then replied, "If you went into a restaurant with your friend, without asking them you would be able to order a meal with which they would be perfectly satisfied. Or if you went shopping for clothing together, you would be able to pick clothes that would make them perfectly happy."

I was stunned. I had never thought of it in those terms before. I felt I had good friends, but at that level? I doubted I could order food for a friend; if I did, it would be what I like, not particularly what they would want.

My friend's definition has stayed with me for years.

Invest Time Invest time with your friends. Friendship can wane over time unless we invest time to contact and be with them in some meaningful way.

My very best friend from my high school years passed away at age 47. As I thought about our friendship in our adult years, I realized that I had allowed the friendship to wane. I wished I had spent more time with him. I wished that my children knew his children. A simple telephone call every once in a while would have kept the friendship alive and allowed it to grow to a higher level.

Acceptance Friends accept each other as they are. Of course we want the best for our friends. We want them to be as happy as possible, but that does not mean qualifying our relationships by insisting our friends become who we want them to be.

Let's help them become who they want to be!

Accept them for who they are, warts and all!

Remember, they may actually like what we think is a wart!

Let's not try to live their lives for them through the window of how we see the world. They would want us to help them live their lives as they see the world.

Sometimes I think pets make very good friends in this regard. They simply are friends in a very unqualified way. They accept us for who we are.

We accept them too! Nobody expects a dog to become a cat.

Accept our friends for who they are and who they want to become.

Easy Ways To Avoid Christmas Debt by Lisa Page

Christmas time can lead debt if you are not careful. I hope you all know how to manage your money for the Christmas rush. But just in case you don’t, I am going to give you some very important pointers. These tips should help you get through the season, with more than just the shirt off your back.

Make another source of income That's right, take on another business project or go get a part time job. You may need an extra few hundred dollars a week around Christmas time. Christmas season usually opens lots of seasonal part time jobs that will get you through tough times. An extra project online could let you go smoothly through the holiday season also. Maybe spend a little time selling your items off ebay or off your online store. Start that marketing campaign that brings in a few hundred dollars a week.

Make a Master Christmas list List all the people you have to get gifts for. Instead of just listing everyone's name, list their name and a money amount next to their name. If you have 20 people to buy for and have $1000.00 to spend. Then each person on your list should get a $50.00 gift and no more. Gift certificates of gift cards can make it easier, as well as make sure you don't go over the budget on your shopping list. People tend to over overspend or buy things for themselves if they don't have a master list.

Set your budget and stick to it If your budget is $1000.00, don't go over that amount. If your estimate on your budget is over the amount you can afford; go over it again and take off things you don't need. Don't forget to add in for Christmas extras, wrapping paper, bows, cards, etc. Don't buy gifts for people you can't afford to buy for. Make sure to double check your list so you don't forget anything.

Go Shopping Early Get out to the stores early in the morning and early in the Christmas shopping season. By shopping early you will cut out the aggravation that comes along with Christmas grief. You won't be forced to overspend, with all the "so called" Christmas sales around the last week of Christmas. This will also give you time to shop around and find better bargains. Don't buy the first thing you see. Do some price research. Saving a buck or two can really mean a lot. Check online, see if you can find a better bargain online.

Buy the right gift The last thing you want to do is buy somebody the wrong gift. We have all received that gift that just collects dust in the corner. Even though you can't afford what the person wants. Put yourself into their shoes and imagine what they would like to receive for a gift. It doesn't have to be a gift that the person wants. A five dollar gift could be the best gift someone receives, if it's a needed gift. Remember to bargain shop, but don't disappoint anyone by buying a replica or generic Christmas gift.

Make a gift or card It is the thought that counts this time of year. Someone shouldn't get offended if you give them a gift you made, instead of bought. When someone gives me a gift they made, I cherish it. I know they went through more trouble to make that gift than someone who just went in to a store and bought something for me. Everyone has a talent. Christmas time is a great time to show off your talents. Save some money, make a gift or card for someone.

Last but not least. Don't use that credit card!! You will tend to spend a lot less, if you use cash to buy your gifts. Sometimes people don't realize how much money they spend with a credit card, because they don't see the numbers. But when they have cash and not credit, they tend to watch what they spend. If you had $20.00 in one pocket and your credit card in the other pocket; what would you use to pay for that gift? Most people would pull out the plastic instead. Your brain wants you to be left with cash in your pocket. But common sense should tell you to use the cash, not the credit card. If you pay for something with a credit card, the interest will make you pay almost double of what the gift is really worth.

Follow these simple tips and you won't make a bunch of debt for yourself after Christmas. I hope this helps some of you save some money this Christmas.

Movie downloading is one the most popular markets today. Having the convienence and comfort In your own home is the reason why. Everywhere you turn in the world is all about making things easier for consumers and simple to follow instructions and comfort. That is a very well thought out recipe if you ask me.

Back in the days when there was no such thing as internet service and online access we use to depend on the theatre's. Meaning if you wanted a to see a movie you would go there. Then as the movie gets removed from theatre's then you wait until it comes out on dvd or vhs. Then there is another way to get a copy of your favorite movie would be recording it from your television or going to one of those popular video store's like Block Buster or Hollywood Video depending on who your signed up with.

Since then people all over the world came across an invention, a very brilliant invention i might add wich would be yes the internet. There are so many things you can find or do in the comfort of your own home on the internet one of them being to download stuff. Downloading is very easy and you can almost get any movie,tv shows, games, music videos, concert's or what ever your mind can think of. That is what i call amazing and very, very well presented in these times and what an opportunity.

Let me share a little on how easy it is. First all you need to do is search online for movie downloading and sign up it's that simple. Second is find the movie you want and hit download or game you want and hit download or tv show you want and hit download, well i know you understand what i'm trying to say here it cannot get any simpler then that. The best thing about it is you could download from old anything to newest anything (movies, games,tv shows etc.) from your pc or laptop in the comfort of your own home i might add.

There is alot of companies that have websites set up for you on the internet. Here is one that i personally like or just find a search engine type in movie dowloading or downloading and what ever it is your looking to download and hit search and you would be very amazed on what you would find.

Downloading is just one of the best things on the internet and make use of it is all it requires have fun and enjoy.
